Engineering Week
10/3/2023
This week the children had great fun learning all about engineering and the role of the profession in their lives. Children had the opportunity to learn about the various different types of engineering over the course of the week and participate in experiments in their classes. On Friday afternoon, the children had the opportunity to become engineers themselves and make moving robots, trucks, tanks, skeletons and scribble robots. It was a lovely afternoon and everyone really enjoyed it. We definitely have some budding engineers here in school after the fantastic questions, great problem solving and creative solutions!

Today marked the end of 'Maths for Fun' for this year in the Junior School. The Junior School have immensely enjoyed the 'Maths for Fun Hour' for the last 4 weeks. The children had great fun playing maths games with their friends and have developed their mathematical skills. They really enjoyed rotating stations and playing a range of maths games. A sincere thank you to all the parents who volunteered over the last few weeks. Your help and support is deeply appreciated. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience for all involved.
GRANDPARENTS' DAY
10/2/2023
We had a very enjoyable first Grandparents' Day in our school today! It started with mass, followed by refreshments for the grandparents in the school and finally the grandparents got to visit their grandchildren in their classrooms. We were delighted to welcome all the grandparents to the school and the children were thrilled to see them! Thank you to the Parents' Association for their help with the refreshments, to Fr. Lambe for a lovely mass, to Mrs. Hayes and Ms. Shanahan for organising the day and finally thank you to all the grandparents for visiting!
