Junior Infants to 2nd Class enjoyed a range of activities for Sports Day. There were numerous stations to have fun at including the parachute, Connect 4, penalty shoot out, rounders, musical statues, crazy golf and many more. 1st and 2nd took part in an exciting sports quiz to conclude the day. Everyone had great fun and really enjoyed the day.

St. Patrick's Junior School Tour June 2023

Pupils from Junior Infants to 2nd Class travelled to Lismore Heritage Centre last Friday for their school tour. The tour included woodland activities at Ballysaggartmore Towers and a visit to the Millennium Park.
The boys and girls participated in team activities in the morning, where they had to work together to solve giant puzzles and play games. They also enjoyed a giant scribble squad activity too.
After lunch, the children engaged in woodland activities where they looked at nature as they walked around the ancient wood and saw the wonderful biodiversity all around them. They used pooters, trays and keys to hunt for minibeasts in the forest. The two groups had the opportunity to learn about the story of the ancient wood and put on a show in the shadow of the gate lodge.
All the children had a fantastic time on their school tour.
