We performed the dances The Birdie Dance, The Macarena and The Cha Cha Slide outside as a school today. Great fun was had by all! 

Today we integrated Science with Active School Week as recorded the difference in our heart rate before and after exercise. 

Thursday of Active School Week saw the children participate in a variety of activities and games outside. Thanks to the Active School Committee for helping to set up the games and activities. Thankfully the weather was on our side!! 
Activities included; Tug of War, speed cup stacking, hula hooping, penalty shoot out with the teacher in goal (using a soft ball!!!) and capture the flag. Great fun was had by all. 

There was great excitement for our soccer World Cup Tournament today!

It was great to see everyone walking, cycling or scooting to school this morning.

We are learning to dance 'The Birdie Dance' and 'The Macarena' in advance of a whole school performance on Friday!
