GREEN SCHOOL UPDATE
We are currently working towards our fifth Green Flag in the area of Biodiversity.
We have been busy learning about the importance of all living things and what we can do to protect our natural world. Here are our two winning slogans which form part of our Green School Code.

We have two noticeboards in our school which show visitors how we are becoming more aware of biodiversity in our school which you can see below. We also have a rap for biodiversity which was written by one of our students.
Green schools
We have a Green School Committee in St. Patrick's who meet frequently with Mrs. Hayes to identify ways in which we can be more environmentally friendly in our school. Each class has a representative who attends these meetings and then reports back to their classmates. We currently have four green flags for the following themes: litter, energy and waste, water and travel.
