We said farewell to our 6th class today. We will miss them but are so proud of them and wish them every success as they start the next chapter of their lives in secondary school.
We had a fantastic day in Semple Stadium where 3rd to 6th class went to cheer on the U13 hurling and U13 camogie county finals. Commiserations to our U13 hurlers who lost to a very strong Ballytarsna team. Despite this they played very well and never gave up. Congratulations to our U13 camogie players who won against Barnane. Well done to Sally Power who was awarded Player of the Match! Well done to both teams who represented the school so well, we are so proud of them! We had a fantastic day on our school tour to Dunmore East Adventure Centre. The children enjoyed activities such as archery, caving, rock climbing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and the wibit! We had a jam-packed sports day with activities such as fill the bucket relay, orienteering, hurling/camogie, a world cup soccer tournament, races, hockey, basketball, welly throw, tug of war, 4 in a row relay and card suit pick up! Congratulations to all the boys and girls who had their Confirmation last Friday. Well done to all of our Easter raffle winners and thank you to all who supported it. |
