We had a fantastic day at the Spikeball blitz in Ballingarry Secondary School with all of the children from other local primary schools. A big thank you to Ballingarry for hosting the event and to their TY students who trained us over the past number of weeks. Well done to all of those involved.

Well done to our students who received medals in the community games Art and Handwriting competitions in Thurles at the weekend. They are now off to the Munster finals in UL!
It was a fabulous spring morning for our first basketball coaching session in partnership with local secondary school Scoil Ruáin. The children enjoyed the session immensely and their skills are developing already! A big thank you to Seán O'Regan for his support with this.
Well done to our relay swimming team who came third place in the community games under 13 front crawl competition.
We had an exciting visit recently from some past pupils of St. Patrick's NS. The girls returned to tell us about their fantastic win with local secondary school Scoil Ruáin - the All-Ireland Schools cup U16B against St. Mary's of Ballina. They received a warm welcome from our current students who were delighted to hear all about the win and the preparation before it. Their visit certainly inspired our basketball players. Congratulations and well done, girls.
Our Active Schools Flag committee conducted a 'what club are you in?' survey. GAA was our most popular club followed by swimming. Dancing came in third place followed closely by soccer.
