Travel flag

16/6/2017

St. Patrick's was awarded their 4th Green Flag today. Travel is the fourth theme of the Green-Schools programme. The ultimate aim of the theme is to increase the number of students walking, cycling, scooting, using public transport or carpooling on the way to school.
We were delighted to welcome back Mrs. Geraldine Meagher to raise the flag. We really appreciate all the work Mrs. Meagher, Mrs. Hayes and the Green School Committee put into this programme. The children got to enjoy a well deserved break when the ice cream van arrived to the school.
